Training opportunities for creating professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

Each month the OIS Multimedia Lab sponsors a class in PowerPoint. This class is available to School of Medicine faculty and staff and to medical students working on faculty curriculum projects.

Classes are held in 67 MacNider, site of the OIS Multimedia Lab, begin at noon and last approximately an hour.  Space is limited, so to ensure a seat in a class, advance registration is required. Please complete the registration form.

For a list of upcoming classes, see the Multimedia Lab Class Schedule.

PowerPoint: Tips and Techniques

Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of Powerpoint (for an introduction to Powerpoint, please see our Intro to Powerpoint documentation)

You know the basics of creating a PowerPoint presentation, but now you'd like to take your presentations to a new level. In this workshop you'll learn more advanced techniques to enhance your PowerPoint presentations. Topics covered include drawing tools, slide animations, headers and footers, slide masters, automated presentations, and more. Class time will also be devoted to answering your specific questions. After attending this workshop, you'll no longer have to ask yourself-"How did they get their presentation to do that?"
