How can I request a School of Medicine email account?
There are two ways to request an email account with the School of Medicine. First, please make sure that you meet all the criteria listed below:
- You must be a current faculty or staff member with the School of Medicine.
- You are not a resident with UNC Hospitals. Residents must use the hospital email system. For more information, contact the Information Services Division (ISD) at 966-5647.
- You have a valid Personal Identification Number (PID). For more information on PIDs, please contact your department's HR representative.
If you meet these criteria, you are eligible for an email account with the School of Medicine.
To request an email account, please use our online Email Account Request form. For immediate service, please make the request in person during our walk-in hours.
Please note: If you are using the Online Request form, please allow up to one business week for processing.
