What is an LDAP (SOMid) account?

About LDAP (SOMid) Accounts: Most employees in the School of Medicine have at least two School of Medicine accounts: a domain account and an LDAP account (also referred to as a SOMid account). Your LDAP userid and password are used to log into email and access certain password protected School of Medicine web sites.
